Pinching Myself — My First Big Speaking Event

I’m still pinching myself. Not long ago, I said out loud to a friend that I wanted to step into public speaking and educating — to share what I know  in a bigger way. And then, it happened.

2 weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to speak to a room of over 100 amazing women — all navigating midlife and its mix of exciting (and sometimes not-so-exciting) changes. It was a room full of connection, laughter, and those me too moments that remind us we’re not alone.

My talk focused on aging naturally in midlife — offering answers, solutions, and a refreshing perspective on how we can support our skin, our health, and our confidence during this season of life. The response was overwhelming. So many women came up to share how much the information resonated, how relieved they were to finally have answers, and how hopeful they felt about the changes ahead.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share the stage — and the space — with two incredible women I admire deeply: Dr. Darla Booth and Dr. Mindy Pelz (yes, the Mindy Pelz!). Their work and presence inspired me even more to keep leaning into this dream.

And here’s the best part: I’ve been invited back. This is just the beginning of stepping more fully into this role — to educate, serve, and support women in midlife as we navigate these changes together.

To every woman who listened, connected, and shared her story — thank you. You’ve reminded me why I do this work and how powerful it is when we show up for each other.
