Owner and Licensed Esthetician
With over 25 years in the beauty and skincare industry, Rowena brings deep expertise and a heart-led approach to everything she does. Her background spans hair, makeup, and skincare sales — including managing teams at CHANEL and MAC — before becoming a licensed esthetician and opening Derma Bella Skin Studio.
Rooted in both science and soul, Rowena’s approach blends advanced technology with a whole-body perspective, focusing on long-term skin health over quick fixes. Her treatments are personalized, intuitive, and designed to leave clients feeling seen, supported, and radiant from the inside out.
When she’s not in the studio, Rowena is a community volunteer, a firefighter’s wife, and a proud mom of two — always balancing business, family, and the joy of helping others feel their best.
Sara Stem
Licensed Esthetician
With over 20 years of experience in luxury spas across Mill Valley, San Francisco, and Los Gatos, Sara brings a grounded + nurturing presence to every treatment. Her passion for skin health, holistic wellness, and non-invasive, clinically effective care aligns beautifully with the mission of Derma Bella Skin Studio.
Sara’s approach is both intuitive and results-driven, creating a calm and supportive space where clients can relax, recharge, and leave feeling their best. Whether addressing skin concerns or simply offering a moment of rest, she takes pride in helping others look and feel radiant + deeply restored.
When she’s not in the treatment room, Sara enjoys yoga, hiking, gardening, and spending time outdoors—always inspired by nature, balance, and beauty.
Melinda Prosser
Licensed Esthetician
Melinda has been a licensed esthetician for over 20 years in Silicon Valley + is known for her natural + results-driven approach to skincare + wellness. Her passion for esthetics began with her own struggle with severe acne, which was finally resolved thanks to a compassionate esthetician who changed her life—and inspired her career.
Now living in the Santa Cruz mountains she has joined Derma Bella Skin Studio to combine holistic care with advanced modalities to support skin from the inside out, always guided by the belief that “skin glows where energy flows.”
Specializing in brow design, lash extensions, and event makeup, she’s also known for her deeply calming presence and knowledgeable-personalized care that helps clients feel their best—inside and out.
When she’s not riding horses, baking something sweet, or getting her hands in the garden, you’ll find Melinda exploring all things wellness and self-care.
